Eradicating Thalassemia:
A Generational Impact

Before our intervention, many communities in Madanpur had little understanding of Thalassemia — despite several individuals suffering from the disease.

Through five intensive screening camps, we tested almost all boys and girls below thirty in Madanpur and adjacent villages — educating families on the crucial difference between a carrier and a diseased person.

By identifying carriers and advising safe marriage practices, we are actively preventing new Thalassemia-diseased births. Today, the new generation in our locality is highly protected against this disease.

Our community work

A Journey Born from
Compassion

Informally the working of the trust started during Covid Period at Madanpur ( District Nadia ) in 2021. A group of persons staying mostly in Nadia district and a few staying in Calcutta gathered to work for the rural poor with a focus on rural children.

From those early days, health, education, and the environment became our core concerns. What started as informal gatherings has grown into a registered trust making real, measurable impact in our community.

Our Mission

Frequent Health Check ups of the people staying at Madanpur and its neighbourhood.

Our Vision

A healthier, more aware, and empowered rural society through sustainable community development.
